CREATING AN ACCOUNT

 

Important First Steps:

 

  1. If you have NOT already Registered please click Login/Register. (See Registration process below)
  2. If you have registered and are here in a logged in position and you have not already profiled your Hub Page please go to the Profiling your Hub section.

 

Before you start Making One-to-One Calls Or holding Group Calls and Demonstrations you must Profile your Hub Page.

 

 

 

 

 

Click New Registration.

 

 

 

  1. Enter Email/Confirm Email,
  2. Create Password/Confirm Password and click Register

 

 

 

You should see a Registration successful PopUp and you will be sent an email with a confirmation link to complete the registration process. Check your junk folder if the email is not in your inbox.

 

 

 

Once created you will be returned to this page where you can follow the documentation in the next section to Profile your account. If you need assistance click on the SUPPORT button on the top Navbar and you can chat with other members who can assist you.

 

 

 

PROFILING YOUR HUB

 

To Profile your Hub for the first time click on the button below and refer back to this page for reference.

 

 

 

 

 

Upload a Profile Image and a Background Image from your computer and fill in the fields. Please read the FAQ's and watch the Video on top right of this screen before submitting to understand the settings you will need to select.

 

 

After you profile your Hub for the first time, you will be prompted to Profile your Frega Account.

 

Your Frega Account Username is the name that is shown when you post on other people’s Hubs. That Username belongs to the main account login where your Hub/Hubs reside. You can create as many Hubs (URLS) as you like on one Frega Account, whether they are for personal or Business use.

 

The first Hub (URL) is free and for every new Hub (URL) thereafter you will be charged 3 units of your domicile currency per month i.e. If you reside in the USA you will be charged $3 USD per Hub or $3 NZD in New Zealand etc

 

 

 

 

CHANGING YOUR WEBLET/HUB URL

 

When you initially register your Account the system automatically creates random a Hub and Weblet URL ie. https://shf4nln6.weblet.me and https://shf4nln6.weblet.me/hub were the Bobs random generated Hub and Weblet sites and he has changed it to his prefered Name to personalise his Account. To personalise your URL go to Manage Weblets/Hubs as shown in the screen below.

 

 

 

Click Edit Icon to change URL:

 

 

 

 

INTEGRATION WITH ZOOM

 

Integrating your FregaRooms and Zoom is done seamlessly when you start your first One to One call or when you Schedule your first FregaRooms call/meeting. During this process you will be asked to sign into your Zoom Account, if you don’t have a Zoom Account you can sign up for free. See the screen below.
You will only be asked to authorise access to your Zoom Account once.

 

 

 

FregaRooms will request access to your Zoom Account… Click Authorise to continue:

 

 

 

NOTE: Authorisation will remain in place unless you revoke access to your Zoom Account. Any Meetings and Chats you have previously had on your Zoom Account WILL NOT be accessible to FregaRooms. Only calls initiated and scheduled within FregaRooms can be accessed by users to manage their own schedules and calls within their account. None of this information will be shared to any 3rd Party developers or individuals.

 

 

 

PREREQUISITES FOR ATTENDING FREGAROOMS CALLS

 

You need to have your account integrated with Zoom and you need to be following the Hub page to attend the Scheduled Calls for that Hub. If the Hub is a Public Hub as on the example below you can follow it without having to request permission.

 

If the Hub is a Private Hub when you click to follow it you will be prompted to request permission to allow access to that Hub and that hubs owner will receive a notification that you wish to join their Hub page.

 

 

 

To make One to One Calls you must request permission to contact the person you are calling if they do not have you in their Contact Book.

 

Once they grant permission for you to communicate with them they will be added to your Contact Book and you will be able to call them as long as they have not turned off the ability for Contacts to initiate a FregaRooms call to them and in this case the Video Icon will not show in the Contact Book.You will be prompted to send a Contact Request at the time of calling if they do not have you in their Contact Book. (Hamburger dropdown)

UNINSTALLING THE FREGAROOMS ADD-ON

 

You can revoke access to your Zoom Account at any time by switching the Zoom User Permissions “ON” button to "OFF" on your Frega Profile Card.

 

 

NOTE: If you switch to off you are un-installing the FregaRooms Application and you are revoking access to your Zoom Account, the next time you want to use One to One calling or Schedule a Call/Meeting you will be asked to re authenticate access to your Zoom Account.

 

NB:When you un-install the FregaRooms Application, all of your Zoom Account information is removed from FregaRooms and can only be re-instated by you the user by re authenticating access to your zoom Account.

 

 

ONE TO ONE CALLING

 

Navigate to your Hub in this case Bobs Hub.. https://bobj.weblet.me/hub/. Then go to your Contact Book via the Chat/Contacts/Rooms button on the left hand side of your Hub Page. (The Contact Book will open)

 

 

If this is the very first time you have ever been to your Contact Book, you will need to click on Load Contact and load your very 1st contact. You can load them one at a time or Bulk Upload them, once uploaded go to Contacts and Groups.

 

 

Then search for your Contact and click on the Chat Bubble. Ensure the Chat Bubble is green which indicates they are online.

 

 

Or go to the Blue Flyout menu and click to see the recent Contacts that you have sent Chats too and select Contact.

 

 

Click the menu “Hamburger” top right and click the Video Icon. The call will initiate.

 

NB. If you cannot see the Video Icon this means that your Contact has turned off the ability to receive FregaRooms calls.

 

 

 

If this is your first call you will be prompted to sign in with your Zoom Account or to create a free Zoom Account. You will then need to authorise FregaRooms to access your Zoom Account. This will only be necessary the first time.

 

Thereafter you will be automatically signed in and this step will be skipped.

Now that you have authorised access a ringing now screen will appear and you will hear a ringing tone.

 

 

 

The recipient will hear a ring-tone and the PopUp below will appear for them to answer or decline the call.

 

 

 

If the recipient answers the call the normal Zoom screen will appear, in this case select "Join Audio by Computer"

 

 

 

If the recipient is not online you will hear a distinct offline tone and this PopUp.

 

 

 

Or if your call was declined.

 

 

 

 

SCHEDULING A FREGAROOMS CALL

 

Navigate to your Hub.

 

Click on the Home symbol, you will see a drop down of the Hubs that belong to you >Choose the Hub that you want to schedule the call on.

 

 

 

Click on the Video icon.

 

 

 

Click to Schedule a FregaRooms Call.

 

 

If this is your first call you will be prompted to sign in with your Zoom Account or to create a free Zoom Account. You will then need to authorise FregaRooms to access your Zoom Account. This will only be necessary the first time.

 

Thereafter you will be automatically signed in and this step will be skipped.

 

See “Integration with Zoom” screens.

 

 

Select a Date and Time, then Confirm.

 

 

 

Name your meeting in the Title field, add an Agenda and Finally Create and Schedule a FregaRooms call.

 

 

You will then be taken to the invitation Dashboard where you can invite people who are not yet following your Hub or don’t yet have an account.

 

If you are not wanting to invite additional contacts you can click on the home button shown in first step and select the Hub page you wish to go to.

 

 

 

 

START AN INSTANT HUB CALL

Navigate to your Hub.

 

Click on the Home symbol, you will see a drop down of the Hubs that belong to you >Choose the Hub that you want to schedule the call on.

 

 

 

Click on the Video icon.

 

 

 

Then click "Start Call Now".

 

 

 

If this is your first call you will be prompted to sign in with your Zoom Account or to create a free Zoom Account. You will then need to authorise FregaRooms to access your Zoom Account. This will only be necessary the first time.

 

Thereafter you will be automatically signed in and this step will be skipped.

 

See “Integration with Zoom” screens.

 

 

The call will initiate.

 

Click the hyper-link ‘Click Here to Start Call’. A new browser tab appears with a popup where you click ‘Open Zoom Meeting’.

 

 

The Zoom-Client appears where you would click ‘Join with Computer Audio’ and Exit Full Screen to access Zoom Meeting Menu below to apply the Keep on Top feature.

 

 

If you would like to prevent your Zoom window from hiding while you bring another application into the foreground, consider using the Keep on Top for the Zoom window. This works on both a Windows and Mac computer. Look at the menus at the top of your computer screen, click on Zoom Meeting (or Meeting if you are on a Mac) and select Keep on Top.

 

 

 

Your Hub Followers will be able to join the call by searching for then going to your Hub page.

 

 

 

Then click "View and Join" to enter the call.

 

 

 

Click "Join Audio by Computer"

 

 

 

 

INVITES TO EXISTING CALLS

 

Navigate to your Hub Home Page.

 

 

 

Click on the FregaRooms Video icon then Menu and Manage FregaRooms calls.

 

 

 

Click "Invite" button.

 

 

 

Fill in the information below by entering the name and email address of the person you are inviting and click to "Send Email Invite".

 

 

NOTE: The invitation will only send if the person receiving the invitation is not already following your Hub.

 

 

The invitee will receive an invitation email.

 

 

 

If you are already Registered enter your Email and Password then Login.

 

 

If you are not registered you will be taken to a registration screen. Then once Registered you will be taken to the Hub where the call was created.

 

NOTE: Invitations invite people to the Hubs where meetings are scheduled. The invite will have the Topic and Agenda for up to the next 3 scheduled calls on that specific Hub. Go to the Menu and Click on Upcoming Calls On Hubs You Are Following to see the upcoming calls.

 

 

 

ACCOUNT CREATED FROM AN INVITATION

 

 

Email invitation received, click to Register.

 

 

 

Enter Email/Confirm Email, and Create Password/Confirm Password then click Register.

 

 

 

You will be taken to the Hub page of the person that sent you the invite and if the call has started just click “To View and Join” to enter the call.

 

 

 

If the call has not started there will be a countdown showing the call start time.

 

 

 

If it is longer than 3 days out use the drop-down menu to see all upcoming calls for this specific Hub page.

 

 

NOTE: By registering from an invite the system will automatically make you a follower of that Hub page which is necessary to join the calls and see upcoming calls on that Hub.

 

 

 

JOINING YOUR “OWN CALL”

 

To see a countdown to your next scheduled FregaRooms call go to your home Hub here.

 

 

 

You will then see a countdown for your next scheduled call within 3 days.

 

 

 

If longer than 3 days out use the drop-down menu to see all your Upcoming Scheduled calls.

 

 

Your "Upcoming Calls" Hyperlinks will take you straight to the Hub page with it's associated call/s.

 

 

 

Click to "View and Join"

 

 

Click the hyper-link ‘Click Here to Start Call’. A new browser tab appears with a popup where you click ‘Open Zoom Meeting’.

 

 

The Zoom-Client appears where you would click ‘Join with Computer Audio’ and Exit Full Screen to access Zoom Meeting Menu below to apply the Keep on Top feature.

 

 

If you would like to prevent your Zoom window from hiding while you bring another application into the foreground, consider using the Keep on Top for the Zoom window. This works on both a Windows and Mac computer. Look at the menus at the top of your computer screen, click on Zoom Meeting (or Meeting if you are on a Mac) and select Keep on Top.

 

 

 

 

JOINING "SOMEONE ELSES" CALL

 

  1. Click the "Search" icon on the top right of the screen.
  2. Type in the Hub name and click "Search"
  3. Click link (Note the green tick means you are following Bob’s Hub)

 

 

 

You will see the blue scheduled call bar (which will change to green when call is active) counting down to the next FregaRooms call. In this example the call was created by Bob and is starting in 2 days and Sally is logged into her account: Sally must be following Bob’s Hub Page to attend the call.

 

 

 

You can get more details of upcoming calls via the drop-down menu.

 

 

 

Logged in as Sally the countdown will go to hours and minutes and once the call starts, Sally can click to "View and Join Now"

 

 

 

Then click "Join Audio by Computer", you may get prompted to allow the use of your microphone.

 

 

 

 

MANAGE FREGAROOMS CALLS

 

First click on the FregaRooms camera icon then menu and Manage FregaRooms calls.

 

Here is where you can Invite more people to your calls or delete calls.

 

 

 

From the Manage menu you can also access FregaRooms call history.

 

 

 

From the Manage menu you can also access all upcoming calls and the link to take you directly too the page where the call is being hosted from by clicking on the blue Hyperlinked name (Bob or Sally in this example)

 

 

 

 

ZOOM SETTINGS

 

Click on “Frega Rooms Icon”

 

Click on “Menu Tab”

 

Click on "Manage Frega Rooms Calls"

 

 

Click on “Visit your Zoom Dashboard”.

 

 

 

Open Zoom Meetings.

 

 

 

Sign into your Zoom Account to access your ZOOM Settings.

 

 

 

You will come to your Zoom home page where you can also access your scheduled FregaRoom calls/meetings for that day and/or go to your Zoom settings.

 

 

 

Your Zoom settings is where you can pre-configure all your call/meeting settings.

 

 

 

 

TROUBLE SHOOTING

 

 

 

People can't hear you.

 

You may get prompted to allow the use of the Microphone so click "Allow"

 

This an Auto PopUp you will get with FireFox

 

 

 

If you can't hear the ring tone while calling.... click on the security padlock and "Allow Audio"

If you are on a scheduled Hub Call, Instant Hub call or a 1:1 Call and you can not hear the speaker.
